Body Torque




Body Torque, configured as "twisting of the upper trunk relative to the planted position of the legs" (Scheglof 1998:544). This, together with "body twist" (Cekaite, 2010), both "index divergent interactional involvements through postural instability" (Cekaite, 2010:9)

C-Formation (Control Formation)


An embodiment of control, involving for example a parent positios behind a child as an embodied directive, e.g. shove the child to brush teeth.
